The latest information from the CDC does not look very hopeful regarding our chances of reopening. We will now have to also find the money to test, repair and possibly replace our current forced hot air ventilation system, as well as add the second bathroom, before we can feel confident that The One Cat is safe for our guests, ourselves and all of the people we encounter as this pandemic continues. The upside? We have more time to raise the funds. The downside, this could potentially add thousands to our need for money to give us a chance at returning to pre-COVID occupancy/revenue rates.
How to Help
COVID 19 has brought one stark reality to us: We will not be able to reopen without adding a second bathroom. No-one will want to share in these current circumstances, and we can't earn enough with only one guestroom at a time to make our business viable. We've tried every other possible way to raise the funds, but, because we currently have no income, we can't get a loan, and we've been unable to find a grant that would allow the monies to be spent on such a project. We need your help.

You can also give directly. Send us an email to find out how.
We've got lots of goodies for you if you can manage any size donation: Buttons & stickers featuring the kitties, sets of notecards (with original art specially created for The One Cat), mugs, calendars, and, for
every $100 donation, a night at The One Cat, once the new bathroom is complete/we've reopened.
